Igor at Wilmette Massage was on our list! His talent, intuition and experience far surpassed any of the massage therapists I have been to in the past 20 years. He helped me through a particularly painful flare of TMJ when the dentist I was seeing wanted to treat it with a bite adjustment, i.e. permanently filing my teeth down. I have now been gone for only two weeks, sore from the move and just wish I could call to schedule a session! She performed a muscular technique I have never had before, but it lessened my pain and made me feel looser overall. I will continue to see her for regular appointments, which are reasonably priced at $59 for an hour before tip. She is the most expert masseuse I have ever seen, and identified my weak and tight spots accurately and worked to relieve my pain, and gave me excellent advice on ways to keep the pain at bay (do not pick up children or move anything heavy, e.g.). The office itself is beautiful and calming. There is a boutique in the front with all sorts of jewelry, essential oils, candles, etc. Its an extremely pleasing and relaxing environment. When I moved my business close to this location over three years ago I noticed their presence there and decided to get a massage.
